Couchsurfing
It's been a while since we wrote something, so we thought we update you on what's been happening in Graz.
The weather is beautiful, the smokers are not. We've met a lot of interesting people through www.couchsurfing.com and through "Deutsch in Graz". One of them is Antonija. She contacted us because she saw our profile on couchsurfing and thought we look like fun people. Well, actually, she saw Toni's picture and fell in love. She's from Croatia and studies in Graz. Very nice woman!

Then we were contacted by Halil. Halil is from Istanbul and is staying in Graz for 6 months. He needed a place to stay for a couple of nights before his dorm opened. We were both very impressed with Halil and especially his ability to speak German considering that he had never left Turkey in the past.
Then there is Deutsch in Graz - the language school where I teach and Todrick takes classes. Classes started three weeks ago and once again the students come from all over the world. This time we met Yvette, a music student from Mexico. She's got a great voice and we're sure you will hear from her in the future!
A while ago we went to a Styrian festival in Graz. One of the traditions is to drink beer right out of the wood keg in the middle of the street.

And this is a traditional folk dance group with the Lederhosen.
