B-day potluck

Last Saturday, we had our first party at our place. It was a potluck - and it was delicious! Just look at Todrick's face :-)

Well, Toni couldn't believe all the delicious food there was and he tried on his cutest face just to get some crumbs.

The party was quite international. These are a couple of friends from Armenia and Lebanon. Former students of mine. There were also people from Spain, Italy, and Canada.

That's me talking to my mom who came all the way from Velden with her two girlfriends. Everybody had a wonderful time and left with a full belly.

International Women's Day

As some or most of you know, March 8 is International Women's Day. This year is the first time that I am actually paying attention to it. This has to do with my job. I work for a women's organization which, of course, celebrates that day. But even more interesting is the question, what do all the other people know about this??? When did IWD start and why? And how is it celebrated in all those different countries?

New pictures!

I know it's been a while since I've published anything on the blog. Well, Todrick has been in the US since Jan 18. He will be coming back to Graz in a week. I have been working a lot. Meanwhile, just enjoy these pictures, which show Todrick with the band called "Monkeys Five" when he spontaneously sang a few songs with them at a bar in Graz. Hopefully, he will even get to sing with them again...? Keep your fingers crossed!
